At least six
people died when a car went off the track at a high-speed rally in
Spain.
At around
8pm local time the sports car flew off the track and into the audience, leaving
six people dead and at least 10 injured, some with serious injuries.
The accident
happened on a stretch of the route passing through Carral, in the Galicia area
of the country. Witnesses
looked on in horror as the car crashed into fans at the Coruna Rally.
Four women
and two men have so far been confirmed as casualties, El Mundo reports.
Spanish
police have confirmed six people have been killed.
At least 10
other people have been injured and taken to the local hospital, Spanish media
report.

Police and
ambulance services are currently at the scene assisting victims and their
families.
Shocked eye
witnesses have taken to Twitter to share pictures of the crash.

Another fan
wrote alongside a picture: "Serious accident at Coruna rally.
"There
may be two dead and a dozen injured."
Eyewitnesses
told Spain's Ideal news site the scene was "chaotic".
More than
130 cars were enrolled in the 20th rally in Coruna, with them all competing for
the Galician championship.
