British
singer and songwriter, Ed Sheeran is heading to Africa to record new set of
songs as part of a career adventure in Africa.
The singer is seeking
inspiration for his next album and wants to get some from the continent as he
plans on giving his audience something different. The information was revealed
by a close associate of the singer and reported by UK tabloid, The Sun. The
source disclosed that Sheeran is looking to ‘include sounds and influences from
around the world, particularly Africa’ in the new album. Sheeran’s decision was
inspired by Blur and Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn, who’s African Express has
had Western and African musicians collaborating and performing live shows since
2006. The singer has a large fan base in Africa and they will be hoping that
their countries will be one of his stops....
