Osun State
Deputy Governor, Titilayo Laoye-Tomori has finally broken the silence on the
rumour of her death, saying that the rumour was being orchestrated by her
enemies who wanted her dead.
Since
Tuesday, rumours of Tomori’s death flooded the social media with everyone
asking if she was actually dead. Tomori made
an appearance to represent her boss, Rauf Aregbesola at the closing ceremony of
a three-day National Women’s Conference organised by the Committee of Wives of
Lagos State Officials, COWLSO, held at the Eko Hotels and Towers, Victoria
Island, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria on Friday. Tomori first
sang praises to God and asked the thousands of women present at the conference
to join her in giving praises to God as He had done things wonderfully well.
She then
reminded the audience about the rumour of her death making waves across the
nation, saying that here she was hail and hearty and that she is still very
much alive.
According
the Tomori, the rumour of her death was orchestrated by people from the other
side, but she did not expatiate who were the people from the other side. “You might
have heard rumours that I am dead. It is all a rumour. The rumour is being
carried out by people from the other side. Thank God, I am alive,” she told the
audience.
