.Reports making rounds online claims that Nigerian
singer Kingsley Elikpo otherwise called ‘Zeez‘ has been sued by his record
label ‘HF Music’ for breach of contract.
According to the reports, ‘HF Music
filed a lawsuit against Zeez dated June 3, 2015 following his inability to meet
his obligations as outlined in his contract for some time, and rumour has it
that it was an uphill task for the label to get him into the studio to even
record the 6 track EP which was released last year November’. Source further
reveals that Zeez no longer has the label information on his social media
pages, and the label, HF Music has also taken off his name from it’s list of
artistes on it’s official website leaving only the newly signed acts Harmonee,
Seven and Big Little. It’s also been reported that Zeez, in an affidavit
submitted to the court, denied that he was performing shows for other
organizations (paid or free) without the label’s consent’. Also NET reporter tried
to get him on phone so as to hear his own side of the story, but he didn’t pick
his calls....
