Jurgen Klopp agrees to become Liverpool manager on three-year deal

Jurgen Klopp has agreed to become Liverpool manager. The German is due to arrive in England this evening, where he was expected to finalise a three-year deal at Anfield.

Talks have already been completed, with Klopp only having to put pen-to-paper before an announcement is made.
Klopp was the hot favourite to replace Brendan Rodgers on Merseyside, after the Northern Irishman was sacked following Sunday's Merseyside derby.
Details of his contract have been ironed out and it is a formality that Klopp will be appointed. His first press conference is scheduled for Friday.
