A husband
has been exposed as a cheater on live radio after his wife asked presenters to
check if he had ever used Ashley Madison.
Fitzy and
Wippa, host of the breakfast show on Australia's Nova FM, asked concerned women
to phone in if they had any suspicions about their hubbies' fidelity.
The pair
then promised to search through the database of 37million love rats which
hackers leaked earlier this week.
A lady called
Jo phoned in to inquire about her "snippy husband", according
to The Guardian.
"When
that little thing came on the news about the Ashley Madison hack, he sort of
went a bit funny," said said.
"I
asked him straight out.
"He
said, ‘Don’t be stupid. We’re married, we’ve got two kids.’”
He had
displayed all the signs of a cheater, keeping his phone close so his wife couldn't
see and working extra hours.
Jo had also
noticed money missing from his account.
“We’re
putting him into this website right now and his details have revealed that he’s
actually on the website, Jo,” said Fitzy.
Jo was
incredulous.
"Are
you serious?” Jo wailed.
"Are
you freaking kidding me?"
She then
slammed the phone down after yelling: "These websites are
disgusting."
The stunt
met with a furious reaction on Twitter, with one man labelling Fitzy and Wippa
"a pair attention hungry, uncaring, utter bell ends".
"I can
only imagine how humiliating this would have been for this woman," one
women added.
