Ashley Madison hack: London on the list of the top cheating cities in the world

London comes in at number nine on a list of 25 cities with the most number of accounts on cheating website Ashley Madison.

There are 179,129 profiles on the site registered in the UK's capital city - well below the numbers for the likes of New York, Sydney and Toronto.

The numbers have been revealed by hackers who compromised millions of accounts held with the illicit website and published them online this week.

São Paulo takes the top spot as the city with the most cheating partners with 374,542 accounts.

It is followed by New York on 268,171.
